Allu Aravind has bought the remake rights of Anushka's 'Arundhati'. He will be producing the Hindi remake along with Madhu Manthena of Phantom Films and Brat Films. As per reports, Deepika Padukone will play the lead in this movie.
It would be great to see Deepika playing Bommali. The director, who is going to helm this project, will be revealed soon. It is going to be a big budgeted film and more details are awaited.
Earlier Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had expressed interest to star in the Hindi remake of 'Arundathi'. But due to some reasons, that didn't happen.
'Arundhati' was released in 2009. Directed by legendary director, late Kodi Ramakrishna, the film made Anushka Shetty a superstar overnight and she hasn't looked back ever since.
Deepika Padukone is going to star in Prabhas' next, directed by Nag Ashwin of 'Mahanati' fame. It will be her Telugu debut. Allu Aravind is also going to produce the Hindi remake of Nani's 'Jersey', starring Shahid Kapoor.
