'Shoot-out At Alair', the action-drama, is a web series that will stream on ZEE5 from December 25. Starring Srikanth and Prakash Raj as police officers, its showreel was on Tuesday unveiled at an event by Ram Charan.
Speaking on the occasion, the 'RRR' actor said that director Anand Ranga of 'Oye' fame has been missed. He suggested that the web series will be realistic. The Mega hero was all praise for his sister, Sushmita Konidela, who is a producer of the web series. "Since my father's debut in movies, our family members have been into experimentation in different ways in the entertainment industry. Sushmita is a fighter in the OTT space. She was a stylist on 'Rangasthalam', and had also worked on 'Khaidi No 150'. Although we can't show our frustration on family members when they go wrong on set, I have shown anger at 'akka' at times. She has been my biggest support. I am confident that she will succeed with the web series," the 'Rangasthalam' actor added.
Creative Head-ZEE5 South Prasad Nimmakayala exuded confidence that 'Shoot-out At Alair' will be accepted by the audience. Vishnu Prasad, the producer and Sushmita's husband, said, "'Shoot-out At Alair' is fantastic. I hope it will be a game-changer on OTT. It wouldn't have been easy for us had it not been for the guidance and support given by Prasad Nimmakayala garu." Sushmita thanked Ram Charan, her brother, for always being supportive.
'Oh Baby' director Nandini Reddy said that web series is looking grand. She also described director Anand Ranga as a brilliant filmmaker.
The intense cop drama also stars Teja Kakumanu, Nandini Rai, Sandeep Sahu, Gayatri Gupta and Moin.
Anil Bhandari is the director of photography. Naresh Kumaran is the musician. Brahma Kadali is its art director.
