On Sunday, SP Balasubrahmanyam's son SP Charan said that his father has been able to breathe and that he is able to recognize doctors. His statement came as some sort of relief for fans.
On Monday, taking to Twitter, Superstar Rajinikanth said that he is happy that SPB has "crossed the danger zone". In a Tamil-language statement, the 'Petta' and 'Darbar' actor prayed for the legendary singer's speedy recovery.
"SP Balasubrahmanyam has brought joy to crores of listeners with his voice in a number of Indian languages for five decades," the legendary actor added.
SPB has been undergoing treatment at Chennai's MGM Healthcare.
