Looks like Mahesh Babu thought he should take up the Green India Challenge on his birthday and he did just that on Sunday (August 9). The 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' star planted saplings at his residence in Hyderabad, saying that it was the best way to celebrate his birthday.
The superstar further nominated his colleague and 'RRR' actor Jr NTR, Tamil superstar and 'Master' actor Thalapathy Vijay, and his 'Srimanthudu' co-star Shruti Haasan. "There couldn't be a better way to celebrate my birthday. #GreenIndiaChallenge. I pass this on to @tarak9999, @actorvijay & @shrutihaasan. Let the chain continue and transcend boundaries. I request all of you to support the cause. One step towards a greener world!" the actor tweeted, sharing a pic of his 'Haritha Haram' endeavour.
The 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor also thanked TRS MP Santosh Kumar for undertaking the green drive.
Akkineni Nagarjuna, Samantha and several others have planted saplings in recent weeks.
