After losing his mother and father recently, actor Rajeev Kanakala has suffered another personal loss today as his sister, Sri Lakshmi Kanakala, passed away. Sri Lakshmi had been suffering from cancer for a while. It's a huge loss for Rajiv and Suma Kanakala.
Sri Lakshmi is survived by her husband, senior journalist Peddi Rama Rao, and two daughters. Peddi Ramarao has requested his relatives and well-wishers not to attend the final rites ceremony of Sri Lakshmi as people are not allowed to gather during these times of corona outbreak.
Rajiv Kanakala's mother Lakshmi Kanakala and father Devadas Kanakala, who trained Chiranjeevi, Rajendra Prasad among others in acting, passed away in the recent years.
