Biopics seem to have become the flavour of the season and the next personality to be memorialized on the celluloid is the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and film actor J Jayalalitha. Vibri Media, who are currently producing Ranveer Singh’s 83 and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NTR Biopic, will be producing a Jayalalitha biopic.
Vibri Media announced the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi trilingual biopic that traces her amazing journey as a cine actor and politician. The film will be launched on her birthday, February 24. The first look of the film will be released on that very day. Award winning Kollywood filmmaker, Vijay, of Madrasapattinam fame will be directing the film. The film will feature prominent faces from Bollywood and South Industry.
Well, a biopic on J. Jayalalith is in making and is slated to release in 2019. There have been lot of speculations on who will play J. Jayalalith. Amidst rumours, A report from the film unit claims that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been roped in to play Jayalalitha. However the cast is yet to be finalised.
Announcing the news, Brinda Prasad Adusumilli, Director of Vibri Media and Chairperson SIIMA said, “Madam J. Jayalalitha was one of those rare few regional leaders who went on to become a force to reckon within Indian politics. Her life is an inspiration for women folk around the world. This film will be a tribute to her achievements both in cinema and politics. We will launch the movie on her birthday, February 24. The first look of the film will be released on that very day,”
The life story of one of the most charismatic female politicians of India will come alive through a film.

The coming year promises to be a big one for Vibri Media, a media company that has produced numerous TV shows in the last 10 years is also Producing 83 World Cup film in Hindi directed by Kabir Khan with Ranveer Singh playing Kapil Dev and NTR Biopic directed by Krish with Balakrishna as NTR along with J. Jayalalitha Biopic, all scheduled to release in 2019.
