Dharmashree Manjunath, who earned fame in Bangalore as land developer, has great interest for films. He says that he just enjoys watching films, didn’t have the idea to make films. But, the story of ‘Rathavara’ has impressed him a lot and therefore he turned as producer. Manjunath has produced an action thriller ‘Rathavara’ with introducing Chandrashekar Bandiyappa. Sri Murali, who shot to fame with Kannada film ‘Ugram’, has played the lead role. Rachita Ram, who stood as one of the top heroines in Sandalwood by playing female lead opposite top heroes, has played the female lead. Manjunath is bringing this Kannada film to Telugu audience. Presently, post-production works are going on and the film is getting ready to release soon.

With the desire to become chief minister, the minister insists Rathavaram to do an unpleasant thing. What happens next? Will the minister becomes CM? How Rathavaram realises? – makes the story of ‘Rathavaram’. The story of the film goes on in suspense mode. The film is well blended with all elements like honesty, love, friendship, sacrifice and the value of mother. The concept of the film not belongs to just one area. It’s a universal concept. With the confidence that Telugu audience will like the concept, we have decided to dub the film in Telugu. Sri Murali will appear in a mass and rough look. Rachita Ram played college student. Her performance and glamour will stand out as special attraction to the film. Ravi Shankar played the main antagonist. He has given wonderful performance in minister role.
