People’s star R Narayana Murthy and Sahajanati Jayasudha starrer ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ has released on January 14 as Sankranti treat. Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films has brought the film. Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao as presenter, the film was produced by Chadalawada Padmavathi. Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao himself has provided story, screenplay and dialogues and also handled the direction department. The film unit has arranged press meet on Monday i.e. on January 16 in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the press meet, director Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao opined, “I decided to not to speak until the release of the film. Now I am speaking. Good humans wishes everyone and I should get a happy life. Some people thinks that I should be happy. It is not selfish to be happy. But, few foolish people think that I only should be happy and I don’t bother about other people. These days we are seeing such people regarding small films. There is a fatality on small films in our Andhra Pradesh. We got 23 theaters to release ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ in Nizam area. But, we didn’t get any theater in Andhra Pradesh. I feel that I am real hero by releasing the film as per the planned date. Despite having the capacity to make big films, I decided to make only small budget films. When riots broke out in Kashmir and everyone were afraid to shoot a film there, our team has filmed ‘Rose Garden’. I have been in the film industry as a producer since 40 years and I am also facing theaters problem. Along with the Film Chamber, everyone should take suitable actions to provide theaters to small films.”

Peoples’ Star R Narayana Murthy said, “I have been doing films since 30 years. I am swimming against the tide in the film industry since 15 years. Coming to the film ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’, my film usually made with shoestring budget and delivers a good message. Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao garu has made the film without compromising in terms of budget. The story of the film revolves around an honest head constable. What problems he has to face because of his honesty and how he overcome those problems makes the story of the film. When I visited Andhra, some of my friends from Rajahmundry met me and said that the film has good talk and they are unable to watch the film as no theater is screening the film. It really disappointed me. Producer Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao garu has decided to release the film for Sankranti 2017, on the starting day of the film itself. I feel that the chief ministers of two Telugu states should take appropriate action for the survival of small films. They should give justice to all films equally.”

Actor Chalapathi Rao said, “Sankranti reminds us rooster fight. All films which will be released for Sankranti are like roosters. Our ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ is also one of the roosters which are fighting for this Sankranti. You will see R Narayana Murthi in a new look in the film. I wish the film will become big success. I am thankful to audience for making the film a big success.”

Jayaprakash Reddy, T Prasanna Kumar, Ajay, Sangisetty Dasaradh and some others too spoke at the press meet and wished for the success of the film.
