Sunil as the lead actor, Mahalakshmi Arts’ Production No.2 film will be launched formally on November 7. N Shankar is making the film under his own direction. This is the remake of super hit Malayalam film ‘Two Countries’.
Director cum producer of the film, N Shankar said, “I have watched Malayalam film ‘Two Countries’. I was very impressed and felt that Sunil is perfectly apt for the lead role. He too was very much impressed by the film and given his nod. It has collected nearly 55 crores there. Basically it’s a comedy entertainer but it has been laced with all emotions. Gopi Sundar, who has given music to the Malayalam version, is giving music for this too. I am directing this film after a long gap. I am confident that Sunil and I will get a break through this yet to be titled film. The film will be formally launched on November 7 and the regular shooting will commence on the same day. 70% shooting will be canned. The film deals with some sensitive matters between two countries. We will make few changes to the original version to suit for the Telugu nativity without missing the original flavour. Raja Ravindra, who is the main reason to start this project, will play a key role in this film.”
Sunil is playing the lead role.
