After spellbinding films like ‘Dasavataram’ and ‘Viswaroopam’, Universal Hero Kamal Haasan has come up with another mesmerizing film ‘Uttama Villain’ and the film which was released worldwide recently is receiving good response from the audience. Ramesh Aravind is the director. Thirupathi Brothers and Raaj Kamal Filma International banners are jointly producing the film with Eros International as presenter. C Kanlyan has brought the film to the Telugu audience on CK Entertainments banner.
On this occasion, Kamal Haasan said, “My films like ‘Dasavataram’ and ‘Viswaroopam’ are well received by the audience. I’m very happy that ‘Uttama Villain’ is also receiving the same response like those. I’m thankful to the audience for making the film a big hit. I consider myself lucky that I’ve worked with my mentor K Balachandar and K Viswanath. Both the roles done by me are receiving massive response from the audience. I got satisfied with this film.”
On this occasion, C Kalyan said, “‘Uttama Villain’ has caught much attention from all sects of audience. The film is receiving good response. But we have trimmed 21 min length of the film as suggested by several people. The trimmed version will be screened in all theaters from tomorrow. It is already a super hit. I’m extremely confident that the trimmed version will become much more hit. I’m thankful to the audience for making the film a big hit.”
The cast of the film includes Kamal Hassan, Jayaram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Nassar, Parvathi, Parvathy Nair and Urvashi. Directors K. Viswanath and K. Balachander plays cameo roles in the film. M. Ghibran composes the soundtrack album and background score for the film.
