‘Andhra Pori’ unit is planning to launch the audio, composed by Dr. Jyosyabhatla, on May 2. Puri Jagannadh’s son Aakash as hero and Ulka Guptha as heroine, ‘Andhra Pori’ is being made under Prasad Productions banner with Raj Madiraju as director. The film is the remake of hit Marathi film ‘Time Pass’. The film is being produced by Ramesh Prasad who is the son of the great producer, actor, director and cinematographer LV Prasad and owner of Prasad Labs. Meanwhile, the film has completed the shooting part and presently post-production works are going on.
Director Raj Madiraj informs, “Prasad Productions has 60 years film history. In 2012, I’ve made ‘Rushi’ film on this banner. After that, I’m making a beautiful teenage love story ‘Andhra Pori’. Prasad Productions was established by LV Prasad and now, his son Ramesh Prasad is taking it to the next level. ‘Andhra Pori’ is a story about teenage love set up in 1993. The entire shoot of the film was wrapped up in a single schedule in 35 days. At present, re-recording works are going on. Recently released rushed are receiving good response. Everyone is saying that the film came out wonderfully. We are getting good offers from all areas i.e. Andhra, Telangana, Seeded and overseas for the rights of the film. We are very happy that Reliance Entertainments banner, which brought many hit films like ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ and so on, came forward to distribute our film. Dr. Jyosyabhatla has provided beautiful music. Audio will be launched through Aditya Music on May 2, at Rock Heights in Shilparamam in Hyderabad. After completing the post-production works, we are planning to release the film in the second week of May Producer Ramesh Prasad garu has once again given me the opportunity. I know the value of this project. I’m thankful to him and would like to thank the star director Puri Jagannadh garu to have given me the opportunity to direct his son. Aakash is a 17 year old guy. He is very obedient and perfectly knows his limits. He acted wonderfully before the camera. Ulka Gupta also gave wonderful performance. Jyosyabhatla has provided 5 beautiful songs. There are 3 montage songs in the film. I’m sure each and every song will be very impressive. Praveen Vanamali will take the film to the next level with his cinematography work. I’m thankful to everyone who supported me for the good outcome of the film.”
