DVV Danaiah (Danayya) who earlier made blockbuster films with different heroes and riding high on his last suyccess with Ram Charan tej 'Nayak' is making a film with Merlapaka Gandhi as the director. Gandhi, who delivered 2013's sleeper hit 'Venkatadri Express' has elevated himself to the big ticket league with his debut effort itself.
The film will be on the lines of Shakespeare's ROMEO AND JULIET.He has signed on Varun Tej and Adah Sharma for the title characters. Merlapaka was convinced he wanted to go in for young talent.He has watched the rushes of Varun Tej's Gollabhama and is very impressed with his performance. Varun also has an intensity which is required for the character.After her debut HeartAttack Adah has got many fans in the audience with her innocent looks and the critics were stunned and with her performance. Varuns look is perfect for handsome young man.
What is interesting is Varun Tej was supposed to debut in Heart Attack. In fact he had signed the film and a look test was done with him and Adah. But due to some last minute changes Nithiin finally did the film. Nithiins character name in Heart Attack is Varun ! Puri Jagannath has some sentiment with Varuns name even though Varun did not finally do the film. Finally these two will share the screen together.
Though kept under wraps, this film is an unofficial remake of Bollywood movie Ishaqzaade. Looks like Varun is raring to go even before his debut hits the screens.
