S Kathiresan, who owns 5 Star Audio, is bringing Tamil film ‘Jigarthand’ to the Telugu audience as ‘Chikkadu Dorakadu’. The film is being directed by ‘Pizza’ fame Karthik Subbaraj under Sri Meenakshi Creations banner with S Kathiresan as presenter. Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon are playing the lead roles.
S Kathiresan, who has vast experience of 19 years in the audio industry, has produced many successful films and award winning films in Tamil. ‘Polladhavan’ and ‘Aadukalam’ are few of them.
At present shooting of ‘Chikkadu Dorakadu’ is going on in the surroundings of Kurnool and Hyderabad on Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon. The film is being shot with the high end technology camera which Shankar has used for ‘Ai’. Makers have picturized the film for two years with high technical values and without compromising in any aspect.
The direction of Karthik Subbaraj, who tasted the success in Tamil and in Telugu with his debut film ‘Pizza’ is the highlight of the film. The same ‘Pizza’ team including the music director Santhosh Narayanan is working for this film too.
The film starts with the story of a youngster in the city backdrop and moves to factionism. After many twists and turns, the story ends up in a completely unexpected way. Sources say that the film unit is planning to release this musical gangster love story in both Tamil and Telugu by the end of July.
