Shruti Haasan underwent emergency surgery on late Sunday to remove her appendix and is expected to be on bed rest for the next ten days. Shruti was in some pain while attending a press conference at 8 PM after her day long shoot for a film in Hyderabad. Kamal Haasan to find out if she has to return back to Chennai or fly to Mumbai, but later underwent the appendicitis surgery in Hyderabad only on Kamal’s advice. The actress is likely to get discharged in couple of days and would be back to work in a week’s time after that.
