Music director Chakri died of heart attack

Prominent music director Chakri is no more. He passed away on Monday (December 15th) due to massive heart attack in a private hospital. According to the reports, his family members admitted him in a nearby Apollo hospital when he was suffering from chest pain on morning. Doctors announced his death at around 7:45 AM.

Chakri has made his debut as music director through ‘Bachi’ and is well known for his peppy tunes like ‘Idiot’, ‘Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi’, ‘Chakram’, ‘Devadasu’, ‘Krishna’, ‘Avunu Valliddaru Ishta Paddaru’, ‘Simha’, ‘Desamuduru’ and ‘Jai Bolo Telangana and melodious tunes like ‘Satyam’. He received state government’s Nandi Award for the film ‘Simha’. He has composed music for over 85 films. His last released film was ‘Erra Bus’ and some other films like ‘Rey’ are yet to be released. He is also known for social service. He donates a lot every year on the occasion of his birthday
