This sensational movie which got released more than a year ago and received several national and international awards, this time won nine awards in 8th Annual Edition Toronto After Dark Film Festival. ‘Eega’ won Best Action Film, Best Comedy, Most Original Film, Best Special Effects, Best Fight, Best Film to Watch with a Crowd, Best Editing, Best Villain and Best Hero. The entire team of ‘Eega’ is very happy at it as it was like a Diwali gift to all of them. This romantic fantasy fictional film starring Sudeep, Samantha and Nani was made with a budget of Rs 26 crores and collected Rs 125 crs. The film was released in Telugu and Tamil at the same time and became super duper hit. Later it was dubbed in Hindi and released.
