Ram Gopal Varma ‘Satya 2’ is getting ready for release, but it has apparently got no buyers. Reason being RGV’s string of box-office disasters have made the audience loose confidence on his movies. Hence the distributors are not ready to risk themselves by shelling out their money on his films. Post ‘Raktha Charitra’ (which was his last box-office hit in 2010),
Ram Gopal Varma directed 10 films that includes ‘Raktha Charitra 2’, ‘Phoonk 2’, ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam: Appalraju’, ‘Dongala Mutta’, ‘Bejawada’, ‘Not a Love Story’, ‘Department’, ‘Bhoot Returns’, ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ and the recent one ‘Psycho’. But none could bring him back his lost glory when once upon a time audience used to eagerly wait for the release of his films.
‘Satya 2’ is the sequel to ‘RGV’s 1998 blockbuster movie ‘Satya’. This film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Hindi. Sharwanand and Anaika Soti are the lead pair in this sequel. Sharwanand, who is also struggling to get a hit banked heavily on this film. Samanth Kumar Reddy, Sunil Kumar Reddy and Padiri are the joint producers. Amar Mohile is providing the music and Vikash Saraf is cranking the camera.
