After delivering four films in 2012 – ‘Nippu’, ‘Daruvu’, ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ and ‘Sarocharu’; Ravi Teja is currently busy with his first 2013 project ‘Balupu’. This movie went on the sets in 2012 and is progressing briskly under Gopichand Malineni’s direction. Shruti Haasan and Anjali are the leading ladies of this film. Shooting is currently progressing in Hyderabad. Few scenes involving Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Anjali, Ashutosh Rana and Prakash Raj is being filmed. The unit had recently shot a solo song on Anjali in Vizag and Simhachalam. Anjali essays the role of a medico.
‘Balupu’ is a complete entertainer in Ravi Teja style, but his character in the film is said to be a little different than he was seen in his earlier films. Both heroines play important roles in the film. Adavi Sesh is also playing a vital role. Kona Venkat is penning the dialogues. Prasad V Potluri is producing it under PVP Cinema banner. With musical scores by Thaman, ‘Balupu’ is set for summer release.
