Baba Sehgal, well-known to Telugu audience for his rocking pop numbers in several blockbusters and superhit films like ‘Jalsa’, ‘Adhurs’, ‘Arya 2’, ‘Mr Perfect’, ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Shadow’ (audio recently released) will appear on silver screen for the first time in Telugu. Although the popstar acted in four Bollywood films, this will be the first time he is going to be seen on Telugu screen. Yes, he confirmed the news in his twitter account mentioning, “I m honoured to be a part of Mr Gunasekhar's big telugu film Rudhramadevi, shooting starting soon, costume rehearsal.”
‘Rudrama Devi’ is a historical stereoscopic 3D movie will be produced & directed by Gunasekhar on Guna Team Works banner executing an ensemble cast like Anushka, Rana, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, etc., and highly experienced technicians like Ilayaraja, Thota Tarani, cinematographer Ajay Vincent, Kamal Kannan, Parachuri Brothers, fight master Vijay, Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry and costume designer Neeta Lulla (Jodha Akbar fame). Regular shooting will commence on April 18th.
