Gunasekhar said, “I’ve been working on the project ‘Rudramadevi’ right from the time ‘Okkadu’ was released. There was also lot of speculations on this project. But I finally got some clarity on ‘Rudramadevi’ now. My aim is to direct ‘Rudramadevi’ with high technical values and high budget, since this movie requires latest technology. Hence I waited for so long. Now that the technology has developed in accordance with the making as well as in theaters I decided to make this prestigious film now. ‘Rudramadevi’ will be first of its kind film in history of Telugu cinema with huge budget to be directed Gunasekhar. One of the top heroes is going to play the male lead role which is suspense for now and the names of heroines like Anushka, Nayanatara and Priyanka Chopra are in the makers’ choice list.
