It has been a little while since we’ve heard anything about ‘Life is Beautiful’ fame Abhijeet, but today he has revealed the details of his second film ‘Areyrey’ beginning this month. Sanghamitra Arts banner (Panjaa fame) is coming up with three small budget films and ‘Areyrey’ is one among them. The actor has signed the film for producer Neelima Tirumalasetti who is going to introduce Sekhar Kammula’s associate Sashi Kiran Tikka as director through this romantic comedy. Abhijeet says that he will be seen as an NRI chap named Akhil in the film. Anisha Ambrose is the heroine of this film. This is her second film under this banner, the first being ‘Alias Janaki’, currently in post productions.
The title ‘Areyrey’ has been taken from the popular song ‘Areyrey’ in ‘Happy Days’. Mickey J Meyer will provide music for this film too. As per the story demand the film will be shot in India and the US. The first schedule will begin in Hyderabad in this month only.
