Bhoomika and Jagapathi Babu starrer ‘April Fool’ shooting is almost complete except for a song. The film also features Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover in vital role. Krishnaswamy Srikanth is directing the movie. He is dealing with a story that revolves around the life of a person who’s born on April 1st, i.e., April Fool’s day. Audio will be released on October 27th and the film is schedule for release on November 9th. A press meet was held on Saturday to brief the details of the film’s progress. Director Krishnaswamy Srikanth, producer G L Srinivas and co-producer Seema Azaaruddin participated.
Director Krishnaswamy Srikanth said, “Bhoomika played a journalist and Jagapathi Babu played junior lawyer. These two characters never get along and keep fighting. Dhanraj played the role of a James Bond character who sells a paan shop on top of a pent house and gas cylinders near a petrol bunk. Tagubothu Ramesh will be seen as a drunkan man. Again, these two characters will be interesting to watch on screen as they provide lot of entertainment. Similarly Gulshan Grover gave amazing performance. Bunty’s music is excellent. Overall, ‘April Fool’ is a wholesome entertainer.”
G L Srinivas, the producer of the film informed, “April Fool is a socio-fantasy comedy entertainer. There is no separate comedy track. It just flows along with the story. We have shot the film in RFC, Rock Castle and Gulabi House for about 42 days. After checking the final output of the film we have completed the editing part. One song is left out for shooting which will be canned on Bhoomika and Jagapathi Babu shortly in Goa. The dubbing will start from Monday at Prasad Labs. We are planning to launch the audio on October 27th and the movie on November 9th as Deepavali gift.”
Other prominent star cast is Ranadhir, Shrushti, Rallapalli, Prithvi, Vizag Prasad, Tagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj and Subbaraya Sharma. Lyrics are penned by Balabadrapatruni Madhu. Seema Azaaruddin is co-producing ‘April Fool’.
