Kamal Haasan’s most awaited film ‘Vishwaroopam’ got postponed from October 12, 2012 to January 2013, according to local media. The news has just arrived the media circles stating that the reason for the postponement is to facilitate the Auro-3D sound system which elevates the cinema sound experience to an amazing level of auditory acuteness for the movie-goers. Wilfried Van Baelen who pioneered the Auro 3D technology was in Chennai recently to supervise and assist Kamal Haasan in ‘Viswaroopam’ Auro 3D format plans. Chennai sources also reveal that
Kamal Haasan has convinced roughly about 20 theaters in Chennai and about 25 theaters in Mumbai to convert to Auro 3D sound. So far only one film in the world George Lucas’ Red Tails has made use of this Auro 3D technique.
