‘Pelli Pustakam’ starring ‘Andala Rakshashi’ fame Rahul and ‘Mem Vayasuku Vachcham’ fame Niti Taylor as lead pair has successfully completed the 1st shooting schedule. ‘Dairy’ fame Ramakrishna Machchakanti is directing ‘Pelli Pustakam’ under Lakshmi Narasimha Cine Visions banner with B Nagireddy, B V Gopal and P Suman as joint producers.
According to director Ramakrishna, there is no resemblance between Baapu’s ‘Pelli Pustakam’ and the latest ‘Pelli Pustakam’, be it the story, screenplay or the concept. He said, “this is the aptly suitable title for their story. Hence we have named it ‘Pelli Pustakam’ with the permission of Baapu. We have even used the song ‘Srirastu Subhamastu…..’ in this film.”
Producers informed that the few prominent scenes were shot on the lead pair. The 2nd schedule is progressing in Hyderabad from 14th onwards with which 70& of the shooting will be completed. The 3rd schedule will again begin on December 6th and continue till 20th in Anantapur district and complete the talkie part. With the picturisation of last two songs in January at overseas the entire shooting will be wrapped up.
Sekhar Chandra is composing the music while Jawahar Reddy is cranking the camera. Other prominent stars are Anil, Yasaswini, Deshanandi, Nagineedu and Kasi Vishwanath.
