Sri Ramana’s ‘Mithunam’ is the pure Telugu story about the old couple who moulds their life beautifully despite their children settling abroad. There are only two characters in this film and it was played by Padmabhushan S P Balasubrahmaniam and national award winner Lakshmi. There are only two songs, while one song was sung by Padmabhushan K J Yesudas, the other was sung by yester year playback singer Jamuna Rani. Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao has rewritten the script.
The shooting was held in Vavila Valasa village in Srikakulam district. The unit has completed the entire shooting part. Audio will be released on 31st March in New York city, USA on April 1st in Dallas and on April 7th in New Jersey.
‘Mithunam’ is Thanikella Bharani’s first directorial venture which is being produced by an industrialist Anand Muyida Rao.
