The national award winner Priyamani is now set to enthrall the film lovers in a dual role in her forthcoming heroine oriented film ‘Charulatha’. This movie is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages by Ramesh Krishnamurthy under Global One banner. Kannada director Ponnu Kumaran is wielding the megaphone for this film. He recently directed a super duper hit film titled ‘Vishnuvardhana’ starring Puneet Rajkumar and also won the Best Debut Director award.
For the first time in Indian cinema, Priyamani is playing Siamese twins in this horror entertainer. Geeta Film Distribution is going to release the Telugu version.

It’s a good horror entertainer blend with required commercial elements. This kind of film is being made for the first time in Indian cinema. Priyamani’s performance is the main highlight. Ponnu Komaran is a successful director in Kannada. He is sure to become a super successful director in South India after the release of this film. Story is the main soul for our film ‘Charulatha’. The theme of the film is about some sudden incidents causing changes in twins’ lives. M V Panneer’s cinematography and Sunder C Babu’s music are extraordinary.
