The steady rising actress Samantha, who has recently tasted yet another hit through ‘Eega’ (Naan Ee in Tamil) is now going to be seen opposite Surya in a Tamil film to be directed by Linguswamy. As per the Chennai sources, this is a bilingual film in which Surya and Samantha will act as lead pair. Yuvan Shankar Raja will provide the music.
However, Samantha, who has been taking treatment for her skin aliment for quite some time tweeted that she will not sign any new projects until she completes her ongoing films. Right now Samantha is commited to Gautham Menen’s bilingual film ‘Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu’ opposite Nani, Deva Katta’s ‘Autonagar Surya’ opposite Naga Chaitanya, Srikanth Addala’s ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ opposite Mahesh Babu, Vamsi Paidipally’s ‘Yevadu’ costarring with Ram Charan and Nandini Reddy’s untitled film with Siddharth.
So in this line we have to wait for the official announcement from this most promising heroine. Samantha is now called as the lucky mascot after she delivered four consecutive hits in Telugu – ‘Ye Maya Chesave’, ‘Brindavanam’, ‘Dhookudu’ and now ‘Eega’.
