On Tuesday Darsakaratna Dr Dasari Narayana Rao unveiled the calendar designed by Telugu Directors Association and the first copy of it was received by K Raghavendra Rao. Other prominent guests in this launching event were Meher Ramesh, Sreenu Vaitla, B Gopal, P C Reddy, Vamsi Paidipally, N Shankar, Krish, V N Aditya, T Prasanna Kumar, P S Ramachandra Rao, Muppalaneni Siva, Kasi Vishwanath, Ram Prasad, etc.
Addressing the gathering after releasing the calendar Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I wish to see many more social oriented programmes through this directors association. For organizing such programmes a separate building required. In this regard we are planning a special event on the name of ‘Director Special’. I wish a grand success to this event in which the directors who are always behind the screen will perform on this stage. I would suggest them to complete it by March or April.” Speaking further he said, “Many Tollywood directors are not aware of the advanced technology in today’s world. Therefore a special training school is required for our directors to update their knowledge.”
