Manchu Manoj’s much awaited film ‘Mr Nokia’ which is being directed by a new director Ani has now changed into Mr Nookayya. A press meet was organised today to brief the details in which producer DS Rao and director Ani spoke to the media.
DS Rao said, “We have changed the title ‘Mr Nokia’ to ‘Mr Nookayya’ only with the intention of giving a funny feel to the audience and that it will be aptly suitable to the story and Manoj’s character. Manoj is portraying 12 different get-ups which will attract the audience. Similarly the stunts, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and Chinna’s re-recording are the highlights of the film. We are releasing the film on March 2nd in about 450 theaters. This is the huge budget film among all films that I’ve produced on my banner. There is good demand for the audio in the market. I’m very confident that the film will become hit at the same range.”
Director Ani said, “The post productions of ‘Mr Nookayya’ are progressing as a fast pace. The first copy will be ready in couple of days. We are making efforts to complete the censor formalities and release the film on March 2nd. Manoj’s 12 get-ups and his real stunts are the main highlights of this film. Rajasekhar’s camera work can be noticed in every frame. Although the title is changed, the content is the same. We are confident that ‘Mr Nookayya’ will be a big hit in 2012. We wish to have everyone’s blessings.”
'Mr Nookayya' stars Sana Khan and Kriti Karbanda as leading ladies opposite Manoj and is being produced under Sri Sailendra Cinemas banner.
