It’s known to all that the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster movie ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddanta’ is presently taking place under Prabhu Deva’s direction with Girish Taurani and
Shruti Haasan as lead pair. Now the latest we hear is that the title for this film has been fixed as ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’, the title that reminds us of the evergreen song ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya….Ramaiya Vastavaiya….Maine Dil Tujko Diya….’ from 1955 Bollywood film ‘Shree 420’ starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis. Kumar Taurani is producing this film under Tips Films banner and introducing his son Girish as hero through this film. Girish and Shruti will be seen in the characters played by Siddharth and Trisha in the original version. After ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’ became a huge hit in Telugu, Prabhu Deva refilmed the same in Tamil also with Jayam Ravi and Trisha and once again tasted success.
Prabhu Deva has succeeded in Bollywood by directing the remake films like ‘Wanted’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’ in the past. So let’s wish him a hattrick hit with this remake film.
