Kajal is once again in the news for turning down the offers from Bollywood biggies. Post ‘Singham’, which grossed Rs 100 crores at the box-office, she has agreed to do only one film ‘Special Chabbis’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
Acting in different languages enhances the experience of different audiences, says Kajal to Mumbai reporters. According to her she doesn’t want to be tagged as heroine belonging to one particular region only. As an actress, she claims to be part of all industries be it South or Bollywood. In this line, she will not mind doing films in any language, be it Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam or Hindi provided she is impressed with the roles she has to play and the offers she gets.
Now keeping that aside, Kajal is currently busy shooting for NTR-Srinu Vaitla’s ‘Baadshah’ in Bangkok. This apart, she is working with Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu in one film each. Not stopping with that Kajal-Surya’s ‘Maattrraan’ (Duplicate in Telugu) under K V Anand’s direction is getting ready for its audio launch in Singapore on August 12th. This movie is expected to release in August 31st. On the other hand, her ‘Thuppaki’ opposite Vijay has also lined up for the release.
So folks with so many films on hand, how can Kajal even think of considering new offers? Won’t it be too greedy? So let’s respect her decision and leave it at that.
