The hot and sweet lady of 1990’s Karishma Kapoor is back into films by grabbing a female lead role in Sanjay Dutt’s film. Yes, Sanjay is planning to remake the 1982 super hit film ‘Satte Pe Satta’ with Soham Shah as director in which he will be essaying the dual role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original version. Although Kajol, Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan names were heard initially, all of them seem to have opted out due to their personal reasons. Hence he finally chose Karishma Kapoor to play the role of Hema Malini.
The interesting part is that Sanjay Dutt is making efforts to convince Amitabh Bachchan for giving voice over for introducing the characters in the film. This is Sanjay Dutt’s 2nd production venture, while his first film as producer ‘Rascals’ is all set to hit theaters next week.
