Tamil films hawa has started once again in Tollywood with too many films being dubbed into Telugu from big to small. Here is yet another film ‘Singakutty’ starring Padmasri Sivaji Ganeshan’s grandson Jr Sivaji Ganeshan which is being dubbed in Telugu as ‘Chirutapuli’. This movie directed by A Venkatesh was a huge hit in Tamil Nadu. Hence producer Kunireddy Srinivas is producing it under Pranathy Creations banner. The film stars Gauri Munjal as heroine opposite Jr Sivaji Ganeshan. The film completed the dubbing and ready for release shortly. The story of ‘Chirutapuli’ is on the backdrop of Madhurai backdrop. The hero’s characterization is such that he fights against the terrorists to save his country and on the other hand protects his mother, family and his lover.
The story goes like this. The hero will fall in love with Gauri Munjal whose father owns a cool drink factory. But the heroine’s father will keep a condition that he would approve their relationship only if the hero becomes a police officer. Learning this, the hero’s mother (Saranya) throws a challenge to him saying that she will make her son a police officer before the marriage. She will also draw a line to her son that he should not meet the girl till he reaches the goal. As per his mother’s wish the hero will become the police officer and return to Madhurai from Chennai. But by then a terrorist will kidnap the hero’s mother, sister and his lover and threatens kill them if the hero doesn’t blast the bombs in the crowded areas in Madhurai. The climax of the film is how the hero saves his mother, sister, lover as well as his country.

This movie has increased the fan following for Jr Sivaji Ganeshan by becoming a box-office hit. This movie targeted the youth as well as the family audience. The producers made the film without compromising anywhere. The climax scenes would thrill the audience. Gauri Munjal, who paired with Allu Arjun in Telugu is now the busy in Tamil film industry. Gauri Munjal and Malavika’s glamour add value to the film. Prasanna Kumar’s music is yet another attraction.”
