The title for Pawan Kalyan-Vishnuvardhan’s film has been chosen as ‘Panjaa’. This film is jointly being produced by Shobhu Yarlagadda and Neelima Tirumalashetty under Arca Media Works and Sangha Mitra Arts banners. The film shooting is almost complete except for two songs.
In the words of producer Neelima Tirumalashetty, “The fans were eagerly waiting to know the title of this film. As per the story of this film Pawan Kalyan is essaying the mass role, hence we wanted to decide on a powerful title and finally selected ‘Panjaa’. This is the aptly suitable title for this action entertainer which is on Kolkata backdrop. Vishnuvardhan, known for his stylish filmmaking in Tamil is presenting this film with a new look. He designed Pawan’s character in a very unique manner. The action episodes are extraordinary. Action director Shyam Kaushal who worked for Bollywood films like ‘Krish’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘My Name is Khan’ did wonderful job in this film too. This is his first film in Telugu. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is another asset to the film. P S Vinod, famous cinematographer in Bollywood and art director Sunil Babu are also part of this film. We are planning to shoot the remaining 2 songs from October 10th onwards. The post-production works are progressing at a fast pace. The first trailer will be released for Diwali, audio in November and the movie in December. We are also planning to release ‘Panjaa’ in Tamil also at the same time.
