Aksha of ‘Yuvatha’ and ‘Ride’ fame has been roped in to play a key role in Ram-Hansika starrer ‘Kandireega’. Her last film was ‘Adi Nuvve’ that bombed at the box office. After that she could not succeed in getting offers from Telugu film producers. So she shifted her gear to modeling and has been active in ad films, the recent one being Pepsi ad with Ranbir Kapoor. This has probably grabbed the attention of producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who immediately signed her for second fiddle role.
‘Kandireega’ is being directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh with musical scores by S Thaman. The film has reached the final stage of shooting and is slated for release in July.
