The shooting of ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ is presently progressing at Ramoji Film City. A few key scenes are being canned. The entire shooting part will be completed by this month end. According to producer Yalamanchi Sai Babu, ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ will hit theaters in September. Sai Babu while speaking, “Sri Ramarajyam will be in the list of classic films. I feel comfortable in spending crores of rupees for one such prestigious film because, only then I will be happy to see the audience enjoying the film.”
Balakrishna, who has more taste for historical epic films is playing the role of Rama in this movie while Akkineni Nageswara Rao is playing the role of Valmiki, Nayantara as Sits, Srikanth as Lakshmana, Sai Kumar as Bharath, Vindu Dhara Singh as Anjaneya, K R Vijaya as Kausalya, Murali Mohan as Janaka Maharaja, Balayya as Vashista, Jayasudha as Bhudevi and Dr Brahmanandam as Thippadi. Bapu is directing the film with music by maestro Ilayaraja.
