Durgam Creations’ ‘Yamapuri’ was launched on Wednesday at Rock Castle in Hyderabad. Mahanandam will direct this film and Rao Durgam is the producer. For the muhurat shot Censor Board member Radha Rajeswari sounded the clap board while Chief of Pramila Movies switched on the camera and Vamsi Pelluri directed the first shot.
According to producer Rao Durgam, ‘Yamapuri’ is a romantic love story on horror backdrop. Director Mahanandam said, “I worked as a computer programmer for 10 years in Canada and for 4 years in Singapore. However my passion for films made me come to this field. Since I got an idea with a new concept I decided to direct this film. This triangular love film tells the consequences of love if a villain loves a girl. Besides directing the film, I’m also writing the story, dialogues and screenplay.”
Cameraman Anand, Ceded distributor Utturi Damodhar Reddy, Yugandhar, Swetha, Mamatha, Jyothi, Venkat, Viva, Babu Rao, etc., also participated in the press meet.
