We are aware that the super hit film ‘Vennela’ is the creation of director Deva Katta. Interestingly comedian Kishore who turned as ‘Vennela’ Kishore after making his debut through this flick as a comedian is now turning director to direct the sequel to ‘Vennela’. Titled ‘Vennela 1 ½, the film has a funny tagline as “Love + Laugh ^ 3 – Logic”. Vasu and Varma are producing the film under GR 8 Productions (P) Ltd., and the film was launched today. The muhurat shot was held on the Gods’ pictures for which director Deva Katta tapped the clap board, while the camera was switched on by Chalapathi Manmohan (producer of Vennela) and producer Vasu directed the first shot.
On this occasion producers expressed their happiness for making this sequel. They said, “This film will showcase many surprises to the audience. This is a complete entertainer and every frame will thrill the audience. After completing the 1st schedule on 28th of this month, we will shoot the film in America, Bangkok and Switzerland.
Director Kishore said, “This film features all top comedians in the current Telugu film industry. We do not want to reveal the names of the hero and heroine as per the story demand and let you all know only at the right time. The love story will also be trendy in this comedy flick. We are confident that ‘Vennela 1 1/2’ will entertain the audience on par with ‘Vennela’.”
