'Pravarakhyudu’ meaning an elusive character with ladies but an attractive character to ladies, is a right project to the likes of Jagapathi Babu who has shaped well next only to Sobhan Babu. This big budget movie by distributor turned producer Ganesh Indukuri of Tolly2Holly Films has already hit headlines by success in audio as well as quick sale in almost all the centers including overseas.
‘Pravarakhyudu’ is a story about an interesting character befitting Jagapathi Babu. He being someone who all girls would die for, surprisingly could not generate any interest in ladies, whereas his natural self of being active, friendly and accommodative among them did not vanish. As this character enters college his childhood friend (Priyamani) also joins the same. As the days pass by their association blossoms into an emotional bonding only to go their separate ways as the college life ends. After a decade these two characters meet in a different college in different capacities. As the luck would have it, Priyamani reaches a level of a principal but our dear hero happens to be a lecturer. The emotional battle begins between these two and the rest is the story.
Though we came across different movies where the heroine commands a higher position in an organization or being a rich lady etc., this appears to be the first time a college principal-professor atmosphere is portrayed in Tollywood. The writer turned director Madan, whose debut project ‘Pellaina Kottalo’ was a success in “box-office”. With his Midas touch there is a huge expectation for the sure success of this film ‘Pravarakhyudu’ which has already created ripples in the industry. This is further strengthened by his confidence on the pair Jagapathi Babu-Priyamani who were the lead players in ‘Pellaina Kottalo’.
MM Keeravani known for his hits, the most recent being ‘Magadheera’, has added flavor to this movie in the form of a mix of different music.
Mostly shot in Hyderabad, this new romantic movie is expected to have a native touch and at the same time there is no disappointment as Priyamani has been portrayed in glamorous role. This apart, the picturesque locations in South Africa are said to be the visual treat. Undoubtedly such presentation is not possible without a capable cameraman like Surender Reddy.
Can the storyline combined with the success pair Jagapathi Babu-Priyamani, with top class music composer and the success hang over of ‘Pellaina Kottalo’ leave a permanent impression in the minds of audience?
