FCCI - Young Ladies Organization "Go Green Hyderabad"

The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific consensus that it is happening, and human-induced. With global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing. Many are agreed that climate change may be one of the greatest threats facing the planet. Recent years show increasing temperatures in various regions, and/or increasing extremities in Weather patterns.

The world mostly agrees that something needs to be done about global warming and climate change. A mechanism suggested for tackling climate change and warming has been the idea of using Carbon Sinks to soak up carbon dioxide. To aid in this, reforestation, or planting of new forests or trees, have been suggested.

Many have understood the ecological imbalances created and influenced by man. But yet very few are working collectively to address the issue.

With this notion, Council for Green Revolution in coordination with FICCI-Young Ladies Organization are jointly going to take up a Tree Plantation Drive called “GO GREEN HYDERABAD” to share our part in mitigating the issue of environmental pollution. It is aimed at sensitizing all its students, youth staff, employees and general public regarding the environmental concerns. A one week Tree Plantation drive to plant about 1500 saplings in 6 Education Institution of Hyderabad & Ranga Reddy District.

On behalf of us we would like to request each and every one to plant at least one tree and save it throughout their life time.
