Villa Marie Degree College for Women Freshers Party 2015 at Bantia Garden, Hyderabad

Villa Marie Degree College hosted USIE, 2015 to welcome the new and fresh batch of 2015 on Saturday 25th July, 2015 at BANTIA GARDENS, Secunderabad. This tradition is followed in Villa Marie since its inception as the senior students of every course welcome their juniors by offering them grand gala cultural events.

The Principal of the college, Dr. Philomena, inaugurated the Fresher’s party. In her inaugural address Dr. Philomena welcomed the new batch and said this is a great way to break the ice between the juniors and seniors as it creates an emotional bonding. She was of the opinion that this function is done every year so that the juniors can feel completely at home with their seniors. She hoped that bonding developed, from today will be sustained for long and will certainly be mutually rewarding.

The theme of the fresher’s party was FRIENDSHIP. On this occasion a plethora of cultural activities were organized. The first year students were dressed in grand sarees and took part in all the activities. The programme was fully organized and coordinated by the senior students. Students took part whole-heartedly in each and every activity. The dance competition which was put up by the second and third year students rocked the house. The highlight of the event was the Miss Fresher contest in which the fresher’s walked the ramp gracefully and participated in many games. All the students were evaluated during their performance in various events. A jury comprising of Zara Shah (Model) and Mansi Gulati (Mrs. Asia International) was entrusted this job of evaluation. At last based on highest composite score in all the performances Ms. was made Ms. Fresher 2015-16, was made the first runner up and was made the second runner up.

Later in the evening the students rocked the dance floor on the beats of the DJ.
