Cafe Coffee Day Coffee Festival Launch

'Coffee Festival' is a beverage show and tell initiative for consumers organized by Cafe Coffee Day (CCD), India's largest retail coffee chain. CCD endeavours to share the art of brewing coffee and a few tips on brewing tea with consumers through the 'Coffee Festival' series. The festival has launched in Hyderabad today and will go on for a month till 4th June, 2015. A first look of the Coffee Festival was held at the CCD cafe at Film Nagar in Hyderabad today.

Three cafes in Hyderabad will be hosting the Coffee Festival all this month - CCD cafe at Vikrampuri, CCD cafe Himayath Nagar and CCD cafe at Film Nagar. Consumers can walk into any of these outlet and learn how to make a cuppa using simple coffee making tools like the 'French Press' and 'Stovetop Espresso'1 right in the comfort of their homes. To add to this is the 'Coffee Day WakeCup', a coffee brewing system using capsule technology that produces a glorious cup of coffee in just 30 seconds. In teas, consumers can learn to brew a rich flavorful cup at home with 'Roosh', a high quality tea prepared through the tea-drip bag method.

Kick starting the Coffee Festival, Mohammad Kaleem, Coffee Evangelist at Cafe Coffee Day said, "Coffee and tea drinking is part of our daily lifestyle and the requests we receive to learn this art is testimony to this trend. These beverages, particularly coffee, is at the center of several conversations be it in cafes or at home. The coffee festivals are our attempt to help consumers indulge in these fine beverages and take back a part of the cafe experience home with them."

Consumers can now purchase their home coffee making kits comprising of coffee makers and coffee powders to enjoy a similar taste like in the cafes. These are available at all CCD outlets in the city. Along with different blends of CCD's coffee powders such as the 'Arabica', 'Charge' and 'Perfect', consumers can also opt for its premium range - 'Mysore Royal' and 'Dark Forest'. Another offering is 'Trist', a coffee-on-the-go and the innovative 'Filta Fresh', a unique offering that gives you filter coffee in a minute through a simple brew-it- yourself process. Consumers can also purchase Roosh tea for home consumption. It offers a range of aromatic and flavorsome teas in three variants - Assam, Darjeeling and Green Tea.
