Charminar is Hyderabad’s pride. In our formative years, every Hyderabadi was taught that the secrets of life are held within the Four Minars. 1st Secret: Be a Hospitable soul, 2nd Secret: Respect Tradition, 3rd Secret: Be generous; 4th Secret: Be progressive. A new secret is unravelled here today “The Minar” built in honour of every Hyderabad’s love for a royal feast said Suresh Reddy.

I am happy, many Hyderabad’s have done fine balancing act or retaining Hyderabadi culture while accepting modernity too, he said. Hyderabad is a global city. At the same time we should not neglect our specialities, which are unique to the city. I am happy to note that the efforts of the Golkonda Resorts management in showcasing real Hyderabadi Cuisine to many outsiders who are living in the city, said Rama Rao.
“After having relentlessly explored the idea of introducing a new world cuisine, we realized that there is no real, authentic Hyderabadi Fine Dining restaurant in the city. And after tasting tremendous success with the Jewel of Nizam restaurant at the Golkonda Hotel, we embarked on a historic culinary journey by hand picking a team of the finest khansamas (Royal Chefs) to recreate a Shahi Dastarkhwan(Royal Feast) of age-old traditional Mughlai and Afghani dishes, which were in the then Asaf Jahi era, served only to Nizami Royalty. The best part; we built a towering Minar, Hyderabad’s Fifth, as an iconic tribute to our iconic cuisine”, said Mr. N. Suresh Reddy.
Apparently, it’s not just the worldly aroma of the Mughlai & Afghani dishes that are irresistible, but the exquisitely crafted regal interiors coupled with a gorgeous view of the sunset over the tranquil Osman Sagar Lake from atop the 100 feet Minar.
