Event Management industry activities which until recently were confined to urban areas only is now spreading into rural markets too. This is a fast change being experienced as event management industry in India is just about 20 years old. Some of the Hyderabad Event Management companies have even gone abroad and organized many events in international destinations.
Indian event management industry is poised to grow at an impressive 20 per cent annually. The market is likely to increase from INR 6250 crore in 2016 to over INR 7281 crore by the end of 2018. Hyderabad is a very important and potential market for the event industry in India. According to industry insiders, the Event Industry in Hyderabad is going to clock INR 600 crore by the end of 2018 taking 15% of the national turnover.
This increase in business in the industry has catapulted the need for recruiting trained professionals. Institutes training in event management in the city that used get 15-20 students a few years back has crossed few hundreds now. Young professionals in event management are being paid anywhere between INR 15000 - 25000 and experienced personnel getting between INR 50000 - 100000. This itself is proof of a sunrise industry.
