Rahul Nambiar, who sang many hit songs in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages and carved a special image for himself as a playback singer, has made a single music video in the name of ‘Trash’ in four languages. He brought the video as ‘Chaththa’ in Telugu, as ‘Kuppai’ in Tamil, as ‘Kachra’ in Hindi and as ‘Kuppa’ in Malayalam. Rahul Nabiar and Naveen Madhav have provided lyrics for the original version ‘Kuppai’ in Malayalam whereas Anantha Sriram has penned the lyrics for Telugu version. The video was released on Tuesday (4th of November) at Prasad Lab in Hyderabad. Prominent music composer SS Thaman graced the event and unveiled the video. Singers Ranjith, Naveen, Rita, Sharmila along with guitar players Aalap Raju, Keba Jeremiah, Reality Shield Diwakar and some others have attended the function.

Speaking at the function, Rahul Nambiar said, “The video is our attempt to through the trash filled in human relations. The trash may be in love or in wife and husband relationship or in our society. We have explained it in a lighter way through a song. I love the music since my childhood. Therefore, I have learned the music with passion and sang many songs in south Indian languages. I’ve not sang in Hindi so far. But, for this video, I’ve sang in Hindi too. I’ve not only did composing and programming work, but also I designed the video. But, I will not do music for the films in future. Rendering music for the films is different from making private albums. I hope everyone will like the album.”

On this occasion, SS Thaman said, “Rahul is a good singer and he is coming out with a video. He did very hard work for the video. Meanwhile, he also acted in the video. I wish and hope that the audience will encourage the video.”

Addressing the gathering, Anantha Sriram said, “All directors and producers ask me to write the lyrics differently. But, Rahul Nambiar asked me to write it like a trash. Entire album’s credit goes to Rahul Nambiar. These private albums give employment to many people. Therefore, these albums need audience encouragement.”
