Actor Karisma Kapoor walks the ramp for Hyderabad's Designer Architha Narayanam at the Lakme Fashion Extravaganza

The Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016 runway platform created quite a buzz among the fashion enthusiasts of the country by launching established designer - Architha Narayanam.In addition; it was the gorgeous lady of B’town who stole the limelight at the highly-coveted fashion week. The petite beauty Karishma Kapoor looked resplendent in Architha’s bridal couture and Parnicaa Jewellery. The designer showcased her bridal collection on the final day at the LFW Stage One the fashion extravaganza, which was held in St.Regis, Mumbai on 28th August,2016.

Actor Karisma Kapoor commented, "I really love the concept and the silhouettes of the entire collection. The outfit which I wore was extraordinary and I always love to support young talent like Architha.'

Designer Architha Narayanam commented, “Although I have been a part of several prestigious, Lakme and 6Degree have given me a wonderful opportunity to be part of the country’s premium fashion event. I also thank Karisma Kapoor the evergreen beauty of Bollywood to walk the ramp for me today and make my outfit look even more graceful. My collection "Kaasika Bazaar" is collaboration of two spiritually and culturally affluent cities ‘Banaras’ from north and 'Hyderabad' from south. The blend of traditionalism and modernism of the two cities have inspired us to feature such resplendent ensemble with the amalgamation of raw silks, gold tissue and banarasis to showcase a contemporary bridal idea. The hues “red”, “green”, “gold” and “elephant” motifs in our embellishment with zardosi enhancements have been determined to refer to the ancient and indigenous lifestyles of the two cities."

ARCHITHA NARAYANAM is one of the most celebrated designers in the city and our state and influential personality whose every design reflects the rich Indian tradition.

She is known for her colorful glamorized intricate craftsmanship. Born in Hyderabad in 1987, Architha’s journey has been one of a kind. A self-taught designer, her career started when she was in her 10th class i.e. at the tender age of 15 with a single tailor at her residence. She started designing traditional, western and indo-western wear for various clients of whom, many remained her loyal clients since 10 years.

Her ability to envision the look of the clients for their most important day in their life - 'Wedding', her exclusive creativity made a mark in the industry of Bridal Wear. Having designed over 5000 brides all across the world from USA, Canada, Germany, South Africa, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand, her speciality lies in delivering even the heaviest intricate work dress within 24 hours.

The brand has undergone a metamorphosis in the last year to 'Architha Narayanam' for highlighting the craftsmanship and to explore different avenues. Today, she also designs and styles many heroines in Bollywood & Tollywood for their movies and exclusive events like IIFA, SIMA etc.
