Director Pedda Vamsi is going to direct a film featuring ‘Rangam’ fame Ajmal Ameer in lead role. Poorna will produce it under Shreyas Chitra banner with music by Chakri and camera by M V Raghu. The film was formally launched today, the 24th January. Later in a press meet at Prasad Labs, director M V Raghu said, “I’ve been longing to produce a film with Vamsi for the past 3 years. He has been working on this script for the past 9 months. We are confident of delivering a good movie. I consider myself lucky to work with Vamsi.”
Music director Chakri said, “Trend in music may keep changing but when it comes to Vamsi’s music, his melodies are different. He has fans in crores. I’m very happy to work with him again. I’ve already recorded two songs and 3 more songs are left for recording.”
Cinematographer M V Raghu said, “This is my 9th film with Vamsi. It’s a beautiful love story with good relationship which happened in a small colony in Andhra and we are filming it as a movie. Chakri composed two beautiful songs. I’m sure it will be a musical hit. Azmal is a promising hero. The movie will give a good feel to the audience.”
Hero Ajmal said, “This movie is a mix of love, kindness and bonding. I’m very lucky to work with a director like Vamsi.”
