Veedu Theda Success Meet

The success meet of Nikhil’s ‘Veedu Theda’ was held in Hyderabad on the eve of completion of 25 days and heading towards 50 days. The success meet was attended by Nikhil, Chinni Krishna, T Prasanna Kumar, Ram-Lakshman, Raghu Babu, etc.

Nikhil said, “Veedu Theda is the turning point film in my career. However the 1st week’s response for the film was not as expected due to limited theaters. In the 2nd week the movie was screened in 250 theaters. The distributors are very happy with the box-office collections. Some time ago people used to address me as ‘Happy Days’ Rajesh but after the release of ‘Veedu Theda’ everyone started calling me as Katti Sreenu. I thank the director for making me do one such energetic role. The entire credit goes to him.”

Chinni Krishna said, “With the blessings of my guru VV Vinayak we have started this film. The entire unit worked hard right from the beginning. I was happy to hear from Raghu Babu saying that he would act for free. Similarly Aali, Brahmanandam and M S Narayana have given their dates on Vinayak’s request. With everyone’s support and blessings our film successfully completed 25 days. Although we were a little disappointed with shortage of theaters initially, we are now happy with the increase in the number. The distributors and exhibitors are very happy with the box-office results.”

According to T Prasanna Kumar, Chinni Krishna directed ‘Veedu Theda’ a little different from the regular films. Being VV Vinayak’s assistant this is his first film as director. It’s very unfortunate that this film could not get big theaters. Still the movie completed 25 days successfully. Nikhil is sure to become a star hero with this film. Kalyan Chakravarthy and Sandeep proved that they are courageous producers.”

Ram-lakshman and Raghubabu also spoke and expressed their happiness.
