'Bangarraju' will be released in theatres on January 14. On Sunday evening, a musical fest was held in a grand manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Akkineni Nagarjuna apologized to the Akkineni fans for not having been invited to the event because of the situation. "January 14, the release date of 'Bangarraju', is an important date for us at Annapurna Studios. It was on this date that the studio was born. More than 50 years ago, my father created a rage with 'Dasara Bullodu', which was a musical hit. Good music is half the work done in the path of a film's hit status. Every song in the movie feels like a diamond. I thank Anup Rubens and the lyric writers on this occasion. The trailer for 'Bangarraju' will be out on January 11," he added.
Naga Chaitanya said, "A function of this sort was held for 'Manam'. 'Bangarraju' has got a successful audio going for it. These days, even a single good song can ensure superb box office openings. 'Bangarraju' has got a superb album. Anup's collaborations with our production house have always been bright. 'Bangarraju' is a family entertainer."
Director Kalyan Krishna said, "Music is key for any film. Nagarjuna garu's movies have been musical hits. My previous collaboration with Naga Chaitanya, 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam', was a musical hit as well. It was fun doing 'Laddunda' and other songs for 'Bangarraju'."
Krithi Shetty said, "Bhaskarabhatla sir's lyrics for one of my songs are so awesome. Madhu Priya's singing is energetic. I thank Anup Rubens on this occasion. It was a great experience to act alongside seniors like Nag sir and Ramya Krishna garu."
Producer Zee Studios Prasad said, "Every song has come out really well. With this musical event, we have rung in Sankranthi. It's like two Bangarrajus are greeting us this Sankranthi.
The event was also attended by actor Sumanth, Naga Susheela from the Akkineni family, Faria Abdullah of 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame (she has done a song with Chay), cinematographer Yuvaraj, actress Daksha Nagarkar, lyricist Balaji and others.
