Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala is gearing up for its release on June 7. On this occasion, the makers of the film have arranged grand pre-release event in Hyderabad on June 4. Each star cast of the film have attended the event.
The film stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Eeswari Rao. Kaala is directed by PA Ranjith and it was produced by Dhanush under the banner of Wunderbar films Pvt Ltd. Santhosh Narayan has composed the music.
Speaking at the event, Superstar Rajinikanth said, “My first Telugu cinema ‘Anthuleni Katha’ was released in the year 1978. Later on I have done 15 to 20 films. ‘Annadammula Saval’, ‘Iddaru Asadhyule’ and ‘Tholireyi Gadichindi’ and to name a few. I have received the same love from Telugu audience like Tamil audience. It’s my privilege. With the films like ‘Pedarayudu’, Bhasha’, ‘Narasimha’, ‘Muttu’, ‘Arunachalam’, ‘Chandramukhi’, ‘Robo’ and ‘Shivali’, I have reached close to Telugu audience. I used to take senior NTR’s blessings when he was alive. After K Balachander garu, Dasari Narayana Rao garu is my guru. Every hero is unique. Work and effort will help you to achieve great things. Earlier, I did Kabali with Ranjith. I was very much impressed by his directional skills. He crved out the film wonderfully. I have watched Kaala 2 times. He presented the film wonderfully. Dharavi is the biggest slum area in Asia. The film talks about the livelihood of people in Dharavi and their problems. Santhosh Narayana has given the best music. Huma Qureshi and Eeswari Rao have given wonderful performances. Dhanush has proved himself as a good producer. I am extremely confident that Kaala will impress audience.”
Producer Dhanush said, “The film Kaala is people’s film. It’s a bold film. We have researched a lot for making this film. The film talks about the livelihood of people in Dharavi, a slum area. The story is about the diversity of Dharavi slum. I consider myself lucky that I got the opportunity to produce Rajinikanth garu’s film. I am thankful to the entire team for having given me this wonderful opportunity. I am confident that the film will definitely impress all sects of audience.”
